On Advil pills before I swallow them!?
I learned about the sweet candy exterior in 6th grade and I've been sucking the brown coating off Advil until it's white, ever since!.
If any of you find this strange, suck on an advil! (not the newer skinny ones, the regular round old school brown advils) They taste like M&M coatings!

I don't think it's weird, but I'd be careful because that coating is put on there because of your digestive system!. The pills are designed to not release the active ingredients until it reaches the stomach for digestion!.
EDIT: Chewables are a lesser dosage and designed to be chewed!. Coated are a much higher dosage and designed to dissolve in the stomach!. I would only be concerned about the esophagus lining!. I guess, if it isn't that often, you don't have anything to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll be fine for now, but I advise you stop!.
Even that little bit of pain killer you ingest to your body can ruin the lining of your esophagus or stomach!. If you do this to a lot of them in a short period of time, you may become ill!. You have a chance of swallowing the tablet, and you may be building harmful sediments in your body!.
The reason it has the coating is to stop it from being dissolved as quickly!.
People will chew/suck aspirin to obtain the results faster, but its like going down a residential street at 150mph!.

That could be really dangerous, if it starts dissolving in your esophagus!. really bad idea!. why not just eat some m & ms instead!?!
edit: the chewable pills are different!! you really shouldn't suck the coating off advils, no matter the taste, my uncle was once hospitalized when an advil began to dissolve in his throat after he sucked the coating off as a kid, he could've died, so I really wouldn't recommend it!. that's allWww@Answer-Health@Com
