Can 20mg of Ambien for 12 days cause major health problems?!
Question: Can 20mg of Ambien for 12 days cause major health problems!?
I am currently prescribed Ambien!. The directions are 2 10mgs at bedtime!. ( Yes, I know the normal does is 10mg nightly however, given me circumstance and the fact that the normal dose was not working, my dr!. changed the dose for a short time!.) I only have 12 days left and told my dr!. that I don't want to be on it for than the 12 days!.!.!.!.Am I going to suffer from any health problems from this dose!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No way!. Ambien is used in most people for longer than 12 days!. The only health problems you could have from it is the side effects from the medicine!.
My doctor slowly upped my dose of Ambien until I was on 20mg!. But at that time, I started to have memory loss!. That's when I stopped taking it!.
If I were you, I would listen to my doctor and take the dose he has put you on!. If you have any problems call him, but I for sure wouldn't worry about it!. If you are that worried about it, don't take it anymore!.!.!. especially if you can sleep without it!.
