Though completely irrelevant, in case you're wondering, the reason for the medical marijuana is chronic back pain, insomnia, and a small appetite!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Cigarettes and marijuana both can damage the lung!. In reality, cigarettes probably damage more tissue simply because most people smoke many more cigarettes than they do marijuana!. If someone smoked a "pack or two" of marijuana cigarettes every day, like cigarette smokers often do with cigarettes, they would probably end up with a similar degree of damage to their lungs!. It is also important to realize that cigarettes are not just paper and tobacco but also many chemical additives so that they burn "properly!." Marijuana tends not to contain these chemical additives, but may contain other equally damaging substances placed intentionally or inadvertently in the drug!.

Hardly any!. What causes a lot of the damage from the cigarettes is all the toxins and carcinogens, and tar in them!.

The problem also is how many cigarettes one smokes a day,
the people who get lung cancer most likely smoked up to a pack or more a day!.

No one would EVER be able to match per day smoking weed what a nicotine addict does,

unless you are like the richest, most tolerant rastafarian smoker,
but even then you wouldn't even be able to function or work you'd be so stoned out of your brain!.

So in short, you can't smoke the amount of weed a day it would take to do that much damage, it's physically impossible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Medical marijuana is legal and available in California in shops!.
Most medical smokers just don't seem to have the problem tobacco smokers have!. I've had a MM lisence for years and my lungs are fine, and so are most of our clients!. You can also choose to use a marijuana vaporizer like Volcano which extracts out just a THC vapor rather than smoke, or use an edible form which is also common!. The Peoples Bakery in LA is awesome!.

Kay Flood, medical marijuana is NOT in pill form, there is no weed pill, it doesn't work like that!. For the question though, you are doing damage to your lungs!. The amount you smoke is about equivalent to a cigarette a day, which is nowhere near the amount that actual smokers do!. If the lung damage bothers buy a vaporizer!. They are anywhere from $100 to $300, but they're well worth it!. Vaporizers cause no lung damageWww@Answer-Health@Com

There are ways to take it without damaging your lungs!. I wouldnt suggest taking it in pill form, because it's synthetic, and the chemicals can hurt you!. You can get whats called a vaporizer, and it heats the marijuana to release a mist(which is the THC) and you inhale that!. You don't take in the carbon from the burning like with a joint, or even cigarettes!.

huh that is a ridiculous question!. weed is organic doesn't do damage to your lungs unlike cigarettes!. smoking weed 1-3 times and 3 hits each time a day is NOTHING!. i am pretty much high 24/7 smoke whole joints, blunts and bong hits all by myself for the past 6 years!. I still jog in the morning and excersise daily Www@Answer-Health@Com

it wouldn't do much!. The people you see with major lung damage are the chain smokers of tobacco products!. Marijuana is just smoke, whereas cigarettes have tar as well as other harmful poisons that cause extensive lung damage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

marijuana doesn't do physical damage to the lungs, the worst it does is cause bronchial coughing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

"medical" marijuana is not smoked, it is taken in pill form!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
