Hi there!.!.!.!.!.
One of the main causes of leg cramps at night is low levels of potassium in your body!.Medically called Hypokalemia which can usually be taken care of by increasing your potassium intake at home!. This is done by eating foods rich in potassium such as:
Banana's,Cantaloupe,Grapefruit,Orange or Prune Juice,HoneyDew melons,Prunes and Potatoes!.

If increasing your intake of these foods doesn't help then I would suggest that you go to your doctor and be checked out!. It could still be a low potassium problem but it might be low enough to merit medication or prescription potassium supplements!.

Also if you are standing up and going black or hazy for a moment then that sounds like your blood pressure is dropping when you stand up!. This is medically known as Orthostatic Hypotension!.!. This is something that should be checked out by the doctor though usually not life threatening or anything!.!.Actually some of the same causes of the low potassium such as dehydration(as the first person to answer said) can also cause you to "black out" upon standing!.!.I am a nurse not a doctor so don't take this as a diagnosis without first consulting with your family doctor!.I just wanted to give you some things to try until you could get an appt with him/her!. Oh and I have dealt with the low potassium thing before so I know what you are feeling there!.
As far as something to do to keep from feeling like everything is getting hazy or black when you stand up try going from a sitting posistion to a standing one slower!. Dont just pop up because that will make it worse!.

Well I wish you LOTS of luck and I hope what I have told you helps, The reason I gave you the medical names for what I suspect your problems are is so you can look them up yourself on the internet!.!.Knowledge is power and if you know whats going on its a LOT less scary!.!.
Take care
