Can I be a Social smoker at 16?!

Question: Can I be a Social smoker at 16!?
I started school / college (UK) Again today and me and my Mates went into the town and have decided to go into town 2 days a week the rest of the time we will stay at school!. My other mates smoke and I don't but today we all put some money in and got ourselves a pack of cigarettes and it was my first time and I only had a few puffs (I shared one with a friend) I did not think that I really liked it much but then I was left feeling on a high most of my mates were to since they had not smoked for a long time!. Anyway do you think I could be a social smoker at 16 only having like 2 Cigarettes a week!?

Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
There is really no point, u can still socialise and not smoke

also its illegal as the smoking age is now 18 (for a reason!)

all of my friends have smoked and i have happily chatted with them and never felt the need to smoke, if they were real friends they wouldn't judge u anyway!. It's a massive waste of money and just wait till ur 20 and they'll have the skin of a 50yr old whereas u wont!

it's a nasty habit, and if u have a choice why waste money and cause your body harm!?

ADD: I think ur friend must look 18 as the law changed last year!

and as for the thumbs down i assume ir condoning starting a nasty habit!?

both my parents smoked since their teens, seriously regretted even starting!.!.waste of money and their health decreased as a result (father now deceased)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Best not to - it's very easy to go from a social smoker to 20 a day and you'll be a full blown addict!.
