What happens to a person`s thought process when they "go into shock"?!

Question: What happens to a person`s thought process when they "go into shock"!?
Answers:
id believe that one persons thought process would slow dramatically due to blood shunting and the lower amount of oxygen available in the blood for the brain!. if you look up the definition of shock in any medical text it would most likely be defined as inadequate tissue perfusion!. meaning tissues aren't getting enough oxygen and nutrients to sustain adequate functions!. so a persons thought process would be slowed and most likely altered to where they would be unconscious and or have an altered mental status!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
