Question: What's the matter with doctors !?
Today I was scheduled for a pre op meeting with a contract doctor at a non-VA facility!. I got there 15 minutes early, just like the VA needs for my check in, and signed in at the desk!. About an hour later the girl called me to the window to take my paperwork!. I asked her what time my appointment was scheduled for!. She looked it up, then I asked her what time she thought it was now!. Then I simply said that with the VA, any time the appointment runs 15 minutes past allotted time, it gets re-scheduled!. Of course the entire waiting room heard the exchange and my wife was embarrassed!. She is my driver because I am on a pain management!. OK I blew it, but the doctor disrespected me by being so late!. I still had to wait another 15 minutes after the paperwork was turned in !
I have noted that people who mismanage time also are those who mismanage the rest of their work!. I don't have any trust in this quack but an stuck with him!. I feel I should file a written report with the Inspector General over this incompetence!.

Boy oh Boy !.!.!.it sure sounds like you had a bad day!.
And there is nothing like one these situations to really
infuriate people!. We have a 'Humanitarian' Doctor, i hear
you and others say ' What !?!.!.!.there are other kinds !? '
Well there is a very good reason our family calls him that:
Out of the whole area !.!.!.!.!.which is several suburbs, he is the
only one likekly to still visit a sick person or child or elderly
patient at home in his after work hours, really his own time!.
We have sat sometimes at his clinic and seen the people
other Doctors will not even touch , and he cares for everyone
equally !.!.!.!. we have friends whos child needs extra extra help,
they call him constantly!.!.!.he allows most of his paitents hes
private Mobile number !!
Once i was really !.!.!.!.!.!. peed !.!.!.!.off!.!.!.!.waiting, until i was told
the emergency that happened!.!.!.!.withought confidential details
of course!. Now!.!.!.!.i just accept , because out there it's a Jungle
and very few who care are in it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't care for doctors they practice medicine and have patients!. I don't want someone who practices medicine i want someone who knows medicine and i don't have time for people who have patients!. When i am in pain or in dire need im not patient dang it!.

It might have been that he/she was with another patient or on an important call!. As well, if one patient is late!.!.!. it makes everyone else wait for the day!.
Calmly bring up your concerns next time with the doctor and see if there is a way to ensure you are not having to wait that long again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
