Answers:
Unfortunately, those soft tissues in the body (and especially in the knee) are rather avascular (have very little blood supply) and it takes them a long time to heal (healing time in general is dependent on many factors, such as age, gender, general health, absence or presence of chronic medical conditions - such as diabetes or autoimmune disorders -smoking and alcohol consumption etc!.!.

Some injuries do not heal on their own at all (Anterior Crucial Ligament and Meniscus) and depending on the severity of the injury, surgical repair might become necessary!. It's a quite significant injury not much unlike a fractured bone (actually it's worse, because it takes usually longer before you can regain full function)!. Depending on your age, pain, numbness and other issues with its repair may become issues, too!. After some kind of stabilizing or (surgical) repair, rest and healing time, you'll probably have to go for 2-6 weeks of rehabilitation (to regain strength and flexibility back in that joint)!. Don't want to scar you, just giving you a "heads up"Www@Answer-Health@Com
