Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.
Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.
The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this!. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction!.!.!. There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to!.!.!.!.

Oh Amber, You are so not alone!. Is your psychologist helping you!? Do you feel a connection with him/her!? It's very important that you do, and that you can really open up to him!. If that's not the case, don't be afraid to find someone you "click" with!.
I also suffer from anxiety/panic attacks!. I am on Klonopin,
which is a miracle drug in my opinion!. You may be too young or do not want to be on medication!. But think about the future, and the possibility of a life without anxiety!. It IS possible with medication!.
Years ago I learned that if you're a worrier, like we are, you should take out 20 minutes in the morning to worry!. Just sit in a chair and worry about everything that's on your mind!. I'm sure you know that so many of the things we worry about don't even happen!

I hope something I said helped you a little bit, so remember that you are difinitely not alone!. Bless you, Amber, and Good luck! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Agoraphobia is like a panic attack!. It usually happen when you are in strange places!. I got several attack when I was in Europe and Mexico!. The best thing is take a deep breath and keep repeating to yourself is going to be ok, is going to be ok!. If you are home fill the bath with warm water and take a nice relax bath, listen to music, call somebody!. Think that is not the worse thing in the whole world, think that's shall pass too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your not alone, it is one of the most common Phobias out there and very real!.

Take it one step at a time rather than let it beat you all together, do what you can and each day maybe try a little more, even if it's just a little!.

Get all the help you can and don't cut yourself off completely!.

I used to have a phobia about driving!. I would make appointments to see a shrink, but then I would be too afraid to get in the car to go see them! I found that faith in Christ helped me most of all!. Slowly I overcame the fear!. Now I can even drive in Chicago!. The desire to live a full life eventually grew stronger than my desire to stay "safe" at home!.

I'll pray for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
