How do you stay physically strong if you work around 17 hours a day?!

Question: How do you stay physically strong if you work around 17 hours a day!?
Answers:
To remain physically strong you would need to have appropriate amounts of nutrition plus sleep!. Not knowing the sort of work you do, if it is office based or physical will determine the responses you get!.

If you are involved with hard physical labor, then I would suggest a high protein breakfast (muscle development) some carbohydrates at lunch to keep your energy levels and and light evening meal with lots of mixed vegtables!. If you get hungry between meals eat fruit of various kinds!.

High protein breakfast should fill you adequately and reduce the desire for carbohydrates as if you fill up on carbs and are not active you will gain weight!. Also carboydrates are not satisfying and people tend to overeat them as they are not filling!.

If you use the food pyramid, protein, fruit & dairy, then carbs on the bottom that should be a good guide!. do not eat large meals rather small ones more often!. Eating large meals stretches the stomach and leads to obesity!. This is where fresh fruit and some raw vegies such as carrots are great!. Also drink plenty of water!. Ground water is best as it contains minerals!. I buy spring water which is cheap!. It also contains certain levels of bacteria similiar to those found in yakult etc and does not contain fluoride or chlorine as tap water does!.

Relaxation and minimise stress!. Stress can kill!. This is also where adeqaute sleep comes into the picture!. REM sleep is the best kind of sleep!. So if you are dreaming often that is good!.

Set aside 1 hour each day just for yourself!. This is a time to unwind, to balance your thoughts and do your worrying!.

There are 24 hours in each day!. Theoretically we should hav e8 hours for work, 8 hours for sleep and 8 hours for family and home life!. How you balance those hours is oyur decision, but you need to balance them in some way!.

Good diet, healthy exercise, good sleeping habits and time to unwind and spend with family and meet the emotional needs would serve you best!.

I hope this is helpful!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
