Question: Getting Paid to Donate Blood!?
Do you get paid when you donate blood!? Stupid question, I know but I've heard that you get paid to do it!.!.!. even tho its 'donating' blood!. I don't really know so could someone please explain it to me!? Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes I get paid to give blood (the plasma) but I always get a cookie & juice before I leave!. !st time I got $50!.00, 2nd & 4th time $15!.00!. I can donate 4 times a month!. But taxes do come out too (IRS always has their hand out)!. Have a good night!. :0)
Additional Details: sometimes in the paper you get like a coupon & blood bank pays you more!. When your broke your broke!. I do donate blood for the blood drives at work, church!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

With some people's lives depending on blood donations it's a good thing there are people out there willing to give up a pint especially in cases when the blood type is rare!. I don't know of places paying anymore for a donation!. Do note that they check to see if you are a drug user, have any contagious diseases, and in good health generally!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A long time ago you use to get paid to give blood and plasma ,, The Blood Banks and the American Red Cross No longer practices this anymore!.!.!. They will give coupons for ice cream or they will give you a t- shirt during a blood drive but that is it!.!. This should be something you do out of the kindness of your heart not because you want cash!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The word "donating" in this sense means "giving" But yes they do pay at some blood banks for blood!. And some people really do donate their blood for no money!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
