First of all, I want to praise you for wanting to be a nurse!. We need more nurses as baby-boomers retire!.

Test anxiety is a normal condition!. You can do a few things!. Talk with your school's counselor about their ideas!. My university allows one of my classmates to take her tests alone in a separate room!. Ask if you can get some tutoring!. Spread out your study time over the week before tests, don't save it all for the night before!. Before a test, spend some quiet time when you can get alone, close your eyes, and visualize your favorite place in order to relax!. Then visualize getting an A on that test!. Take your time with tests!. If you don't know an answer, skip the question, go on to the next one, and go back to it later!. Look for a test-taking strategy class at a local community college!. If you need to, change your schedule!. You could ask a doctor if you have a learning disability or ADHD!. If you do, the school has to accommodate it because of the Americans with Disabilities Act!. Do you have too many extracurricular activities!? Some extracurriculars are good, but you need time for school, too!. Most importantly, tell yourself you can do it!

Nursing school is stressful, too!. Most schools offer ways to help!. Try not to worry too much, that can bring you down more!. Imagine your future as a successful nurse, and keep working hard!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
