Tips/Tricks to falling asleep when you have a restless mind.?!


Question: Tips/Tricks to falling asleep when you have a restless mind!.!?
Here lately every time I go to bed my mind starts wandering to the point where I have to lie there for hours before I can fall asleep!. My mind keeps racing with events of that day, things that have happend in the past, what I would have done different about it; and then sometimes I just daydream and it's to the point where it really needs to stop because it's seriously interfering with my sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you use a lot of electrical stuffs!?
Like laptop, computer, phone, video console, iPod, TV!?

People think that staring too long at screens and stuff can stop you falling asleep :)

There's a trick that might help you to relax!. First, close your eyes and imagine your toes, completely at ease!. Next, move to the entire foot!. Relax it in your mind, make it feel light, as if floating!. In your mind, move to the legs!. Focus on maintaining the lightness, like there's no bones or muscles, just air!. Keep on focusing on your body parts as you mentally force yourself to relax!. Usually, by the time, you are at your head, you can fall asleep!. If that doesn't help, you might consider getting up and watching t!.v!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had this same thing!. What I do, is before I go lay in bed I draw a warm bath, light candles, and put on soft, relaxing music!.
After the bath, I take the candles and put them on my nightstand and read a good book!. As soon as my mind starts to get tired, I shut the light off and spray some Lavender Chamomile pillow mist from bath and body works!.!.!.then i fall right asleep!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cover your clock,turn your cell phone off and away from you, and lay like a mummy as long as you can and you should fall asleep within 20 minutes!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

What works for me is reading a book, preferably one with no pictures!. I picked a really dull political book, and before 2 pages were gone I'm ready for sleep!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

take some herbal tea they make one spacificallly for bedtime!.!.!.you can get it in the coffee and tea section at a grocery store!.!. i suffered from the same thing but i didnt want to take sleeping pillsWww@Answer-Health@Com

try doing abit of meditation about one hour before going to sleep to sort out your problems and relax the mindWww@Answer-Health@Com
