When I cough, I gag.?!

Question: When I cough, I gag!.!?

Recently when I get an itchy or dry throat I cough, and when I cough I also gag, one time I even threw-up!. I'm 25 years old and this never happened before, what could be causing this!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

And when I laugh too much or hiccup!.

Somehow it's triggering of the glasopharangeal nerve (gag reflex) at the back of the throat!. Maybe because we tense up when we cough!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
