Question: Could i mention to a doctor my worries about someone else's health!?
Just wondering!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
yes!. you can mention to a doctor about someone elses health, but they will not discuss the person with you!.

if the other persons health is maiing you ill, stressed out, worried etc!.!. you can ask the doctor for advice on dealing with the feelings you have!.

Depending on the health issue of the other person, (for instance cancer, victims of violence) there are support groups and agencies to help you to come to terms with, and deal with what is happening, so that you can offer the most support you can to that person, and to look after yourself too!.!. you cant let your own health suffer too!.!.

if you need to discuss someone elses health issues with a doctor because the person involved is unable to understand or deal with the situation on their own, you will be able to go into the appointment with that person , if they say its ok for you to go with them!. if your dealing with the persons health for them (for example phoning up for test results, etc!.!. you can fill in a form with the receptionists / doctor which both u and the patient sign to say its ok for you to talk and receive information!.

it really depends on the situation!.!.!. so i hope ive given you enough information to help

ive just seen your additional info, maybe it would be best for you to talk to the patient!.!. make sure they see that you are on their side, if there is an issue they need you to be understanding, not to be another peron seen to be telling them what to do

No it is your appointment and the doctor can not discuss another patient with you
The only exception would be for a close relative that you are looking after , but again it may be limited in what content the conversation would have
If you are worried about someone , you need to persuade them to visit the doctor , and you could offer to sit in with them Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can discuss anything with your Dr, but he is unable to discuss or divulge information about your friends medical history with you!.!. This would be a breach of confidentiality!. He can still listen though!.

Ok cool, so just go ahead and tell him!. That's fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No the appointment you make is for you, the doctor can not disguise other people heath problems with any body else, the doctors are their to see ill people!. I Suggest the person you want advice for make an appointment with their doctor Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can tell the doctor, but the doctor can't tell you anything about that person's health (unless you're the parent or guardian or something)!.

And I'm assuming it's that person's doctor!? Because otherwise there's no point!.

You can tell your doctor about anything you like!. However he can't really chase after a patient he has to wait until they make another contact!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could but unless they can be sectioned or something due to mental illness, he can't discuss it or act on it!. If it's serious, you could call the doctor out to them at home!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. The appointment is specifically to talk about you and your issues!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
