I am in need of a little advice to do with my health..I am getting sick of?!

Question: I am in need of a little advice to do with my health!.!.I am getting sick of!?
I am in need of a little advice to do with my health!.!.I am getting sick of all the different answers on my MRI's!. I am saying for instance my Cervical MRI has been done 4 times and on ALL 4 of them they all have COMPLETELY different stuff, one even says everything appears normal!. The rest have things on them but they are all different!. When I say cervical mri - I am talking about my upper back!. So the new neuro is going to go by the newest one he gave me!. I have some things on the other ones that I am concerned about but he says he will go by this one!. I don't get it; why when all 4 mri's are different, would he go by this one!? The next one could also say something totally different!. Why can't I get a straight answer on my health from a doctor!.

Pretty soon no doctor will take me and I will get accused of doctor hopping (that is what my sister says) if I go to a different doctor, if this one does nothing for me!. I need an answer to what is causing all my chronic pain (not from you all, I am just saying)!. So what should I do!? This neuro will not listen to me when I talk to him and I am almost out of options!. Should I write him a letter instead since he won't let me get a word in edge wise and send it to him before my appt!? I just don't know how he can come to a conclusion from this last one when they are all so different!. What if this one is not correct!? How will I know which MRI is right and which one is wrong!? I am getting so sick and tired of the run around with the doctors!. Any serious advice would be appreciated!. Thank you ahead of time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmmm!.!.!.!.been going through this for years now!.!.!.!.finally got a doc to give me a CT scan and guess what!? After about 10 wrong diagnosis, I think they've finally (and they too believe) that we've hit on the correct one!.!.!.don't know how you've been feeling, but I've been hurting to the point that I don't want to wake up in the morning!. Anyway, been diagnosis with CERVICAL SPINAL STENOSIS!. If you want to find info on it try WEBMD OR EORTHOPOD or a source on Google!. Everything sounds just like how I've been feeling and I can tell you, that the longer you wait to find out, the worse diagnosis for cure you get, so, do some investigating on your own!. I'm only in my mid 50's and too have been accused of "Doctor Shopping", but I didn't give up and finally feel like I've got a chance at a better life because of being dilligent!. It took me 6 years and lots and lots of complaining, and it's our right to find a doc that we feel comfortable with!. It took me a frantic trip to the ER to finally get someone to listen to me!. Good luck and God Bless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep going until you find a doctor more willing to help you!. Your body is trying to tell you something and you need to listen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, trust your instinct!. I work in health care and can tell you first hand I have seen plenty of my patients who have "shopped around" to finally make it to us and finally have an answer which will help them!. Perhaps you've already done so, but if not be sure you are seeing a leader in the field!. If you are close to a University (teaching) hospital, I suggest you find out who is the head of the neurology department and make an appointment with him/her!. Gather ALL your prior films and reports and sign release forms so they can be sent to this new doctor!. Discuss with this doctor your concerns about the conflicting reports!. It may be time for a different type of imaging if the MRI's are providing inconclusive results!. Finally, if you get no release from traditional medicine, it may be time to consider alternatives like chiropractic, massage, or even acupuncture!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take your MRIs to a chiropractor and the heck with the doctors!. By the way don't you think that 4 or 5 MRI's are a bit too much!? Can't it cause you any harm!?
I don't think that it is the MRIs that are different it is just the Specialists that are interpreting them differently!. I would suggest that you get all your MRIs together and get one specialist to interpret them but I am also serious about seeing a chiropractor!. They will be able to interpret you MRIs better and will know what to look for - that is their speciality and more than likely they will be able to eliminate that chronic pain!.

After the birth of my son I really had bad chronic pain in my back and my right side, my arm was constantly tingling and my neck and my temple were numb!. They wanted to do all sorts of tests and had all sorts of theories and the only thing that saved me from going for tests was that I was nursing and did not want to contaminate my son with polluted breast milk!.

I thought I was dying lucky that a friend recommended I go see a chiropractor!. In just one treatment the pain was gone!. I have been going since then off and on over the years whenever I feel the need and I am so grateful!.

I see people running to doctors for all sorts of pills for pain when adjustments at the chiro work wonders!. It really worked a miracle for me!.

Oh and MEEM I do know that one cat scan is equivalent to about 250 Xrays!. A chiro would defenitaly be helpful to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the current neuro won't listen to you then by all means go to a different doctor! NOTHING is wrong with wanting to find out what's wrong with you!

Research area doctors and doctors in nearby cities!. Talk to other people, get recommendations!.

I don't know why all 4 MRI's come back with different results, but I would definitely keep going to different doctors and be VERY insistent they find out what's going on!. Remember!.!.!.!.they work for you, not the other way around! Www@Answer-Health@Com

MRI's are not read by your actual Dr usually!. a Radiologist reads them and then writes his impression, a Radiologist is however a Dr!. If you have different ones reading them that is why you may be getting different results!. Check and see who the Radiologist is, if it is the same one, talk to that Dr, your neuro Doc is probably just going by what is on the report!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think he chose the newest one because its the most recent! so that means its whats happening to your body right "now" and need to be treated right "now" too! their might something bigger behind it all that keeps changing what the MRI is finding! or that its more than one symptome and the MRI found 3 different symptomes!

i say get treated with the most recent MRI and ask the doctor why the MRI has different results! after the doctor gives you a treatment, get another MRI and see if the most recent result is different from it and if what comes up is the same as the older results!

or that their might just be an error on the machine or the guys that work the MRI place,

get well soon, !!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
