Strange reaction to piercings?!

Question: Strange reaction to piercings!?
Since I was 3, I have tried piercing my ears a total of 5 times!. Each time, they always swell and I have to remove the earrings!. I have tried real gold, silver, titanium, nickel-free, etc!. It's not so much of an allergic reaction!.!.!.I don't break out but my ears swell up really big and "eat" my earrings!. I went to the tattoo parlor and the guy there said that it was just an allergy and there they pierce with surgical steel and it would definitely work!. He also said that piercing with studs is also very bad and they don't do that, they pierce with a needle and use barbells!.!.!.do you think I am allergic or could it be something else!? Also do you think I could wear surgical steel!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Your body is behaving precisely the way it should be!. You're sticking foreign matter in it and it's doing it's damndest to expel it!. You will probably still swell a little no matter what but surgical steel is much less likely to cause that reaction and using a barbel instead of a traditional post or stud will help you keep it clean!. Good luck, as long as you're going to a reputable parlor you'll probably be fine if you want to try again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have this same problem however mine is just the upper part of my ear such as my cartilage!. I've tryed 8times but it never works!. It swells up and hurts super bad! One time my earring went in my ear all the way and skin grew over it, and i had to go to the E!.R!. I was told it was the quality of the earing but it wasn't because I always used the best!. I think it may just be that your ears are very sensative, like mine!. Hope I helped and best of luck!! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com
