Can emotions effect your appetite?!


Question: Can emotions effect your appetite!?
Normally, i would eat tonnes of food and be fine, i don't get fat, and i balance it out with exercise!.
In the last few days, i haven't been hungry at all, but my emotions have been all over the place (Not due to appetite)!. I've only forced myself to eat, and that was about 24 hours ago now!.
The last time i had a meal was on friday, tis now sunday!. Although i did eat a bar of chocolate on friday!.
I've also had zero exercise since friday!.

yes they can!. my user husband left me 5 weeks ago and I haven't eaten a proper meal since!. I'm forcing myself to eat so I don't pass out but its difficult!. If you are off your food then make sure you have plenty of fluids!. I have been to the doctors and am getting help!. if you are still like this in a few days I suggest you go too!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, there is well-founded evidence that emotions affect our eating behavior!.!.!. Though how they affect varies from one individual to another!. As an individual, you are not a mind plus a body!. In other words, you are NOT a sum of parts!. Emotions can either cause overeating or loss of appetite -- because why, when, what and how you eat is not dependent on your physiology alone!.

Emotions such as anxiety, anger, sadness, worry affect appetite and are known to cause cause a tummy upset and arrest a normal appetite!.

I have personally experienced loss of appetite whenever I am sad!. Likewise, when I am extremely happy, I find myself overeating!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on the person I think so for me anyways as not everybody is the same as each other!. But I've recently felt really down and I would find myself not eating a lot cos I don't have a appetite for it!. But usually I find myself saying to myself I need to put on weight (I'm really skinny) and just eat a little bit more!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

They sure can!. If you're upset some people tend to make themselves feel better by eating more comforting foods like chocolate!. Although if you're happy you can eat a lot too!. It all depends on the person you are!. Some people can't bring themselves to eat anything when they are upset, others eat too much!. There is something wrong with you!. No one should be able to go days without food and not be hungry, even the survivorman on TV can't go a day without eating some kind of small animal like a scorpion or lizard! Seek medical attention and try to eat soup or something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When some people are upset they tend to not eat and others may continously eat!.
