What happens during a lower back MRI?!

Question: What happens during a lower back MRI!?
I have a lower back MRI scheduled for tomorrow!. Getting a bit nervous about it!. Had an ear MRI 10 years ago and it was a VERY uncomfortable experience, I felt like I am not able to breathe, then I moved, they had to repeat the whole thing!. etc!. Total nightmare!.
But now that scanned area is not close to my head, I am wondering if my head will be in the machine or if it is just going to be my trunk!.
Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

3 years ago when i had mine(my back too), my whole body was inside the "tube machine" and they asked you to be as still as you can, it wasnt a bad experience for me (but i gues it can be if your clostrophobic)!. just relax and ignore the noise, they do have a speaker/microphone so you can talk to the tech!. i wish best of luck and good health to you!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
