Why is it that (of all your body parts), your feet is always first to be freezin!

If the environment is cold the body protects itself by redirecting blood flow away from the extremities (= legs and arms) in order to give away less heat to the environment!. This process is called centralization of the circulatory system!. This way the fat layer under the skin acts as isolation against heat loss!. The feet is the location from where blood is redirected first, because they are located most peripherally, i!.e the body part that's located farthest from core!. It is vital to have a core temperature around 36-37
