Question: Is this a health concern that needs attention!?
I have what I think may be a lymph node!. It is located behind my ear on my head!. It has been there for 3 yrs never gone away!. Is this something that needs medical attention or not!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course! You can never be for sure what something is unless you have a doctor check it out!. It could be anything!.!.!. and why risk it being something serious!? It also could be nothing!. Just get it checked out so that you know for sure!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, lymph nodes can be swollen for many reasons, a cold, flu, any kind of viral infection - sometimes viruses you don't even know your body is battling!.
Obviously the best thing for you to do if it has remain swollen and painful for a long period of time, is to visit a doctor!. Although I'd take a guess you probably have nothing to worry about!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like a lymph node!. They can get infected when you are ill and sometimes scar tissue will develop around them, making them more prominent than others!.
Does it cause you pain!? is it red!? does it feel warm to the touch!? If any of those are the case, then yes, go see your doctor!. It could be an abscess!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if it doesn't hurt then it may be ok!. sometime lymph nodes will become swollen if your body is fighting an infection somewhere!. if it gets bigger or hurts you should go get it checked out!. If you have health insurance then maybe you should go get it looked at anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A lymph node is perfectly normal (we all have a bunch of them), however, a swollen one is not!. If it's swollen, I think you may want to see the doctor, but don't freak out, because it could be nothing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
everyone has lymph nodes!. but you should ask your doc what they think!. It might be cancerous!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
