Answers:
Anemia is low iron content in blood!. Death is a possibility if she lets it get bad and doesn't take care of herself but that's at the very severe end of possibilities!. Since I doubt you, your friend's family, or your friend would let something like that happen, I'm sure that she will be fine if she takes care of herself!.

She will have to change her diet up a little so that the foods she eat are high in iron!. Some foods high in iron include: green leafy vegetables (broccoli, spinach, etc!.), red meats (go for lean red meats) and just about any other meats, beans, nuts, and fruits!. You can also get food that is fortified with iron (meaning they add iron to it) like certain cereals and oatmeals!. If it is fortified, it will be clearly marked on the label for easy view!.

It also depends on what kind of anemia she has, too!. Some types are:
- iron-deficiency anemia
- vitamin deficiency anemia
- anemia that occurs because of another disease
- hemolytic anemia
- sickle cell anemia

It's a possibility that your friend may tire easily because of the anemia!. Iron helps to deliver oxygen to your blood (which delivers it to your tissues and organs) so the lower your iron count, the less oxygen your body receives!. This means your friend may possibly be exhausted easily, or even weak!. She will also have to be careful because being anemic can mean she can bruise easily if she gets any sort of trauma or injury!.

I hope this helps, but if you need more information, please check out my source and talk to your friend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION!!!!! Never go by what one doctor says! Always go to different doctors and see what they say!. I'm not sure of how to treat that or what it is!. But i remeber going to a dovtor for my grandma and them wanting to perform a surgery that would keep her in a wheel chair for the rest of her life, when we went to another doctor they just treated it without surgery and she's fine now!. Go ask other doctors!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
