Did my 5 year old get stung by a bee??? PLEASE HELP?!

Yesterday at the park my 5 year old started screaming and swatting his leg!.When I got to him he had a raised white large bump on his leg and it had a perfect small red dot in the center!.!.!.about the size of the tip of a fat marker!.I put ice on it immediately and then after 15 minutes the red dot turned white!.Today his leg and foot are both very swollen and the place looks like a small blister and I noticed one other very tiny blister about 1 inch from the first!.Also the area is very splotchy red!.
So could this be a bee sting or yellow jacket possibly!.I didn't actually see any bees in the area we were in!.We were far away from the picnic area!.
