Question: Are these a migraine headaches!?
my mom is having sickeness to stomach, headaches and weakness for the past 2 days!. do migraines cause these symptoms!. also what are some other symptoms of migraines as well!. thanks for answering everyoneWww@Answer-Health@Com

Migraine headaches can cause a variety of symptoms, including nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, seeing stars or other strange things and not being able to see clearly around the stars, etc!. No one knows for sure what causes migraines, but they come most frequently to pubescent girls and menopausal women!. There seems to be an allergy component to them as well, but this is not clearly understood!. People who have a migraine are sensitive to light!. People can also lose the function in one side of their body for a brief time, depending on where the focus of the headache is in the brain!. The headache itself is the result of a blood vessel in the brain becoming spasmotic and limiting the flow of blood in the area!. Depending on where the vessel is, and how big it is, the symptoms can range from fairly mild and irritating to severe and disabling for up to 24 hours!. Hope that helps!. I get migraines monthly, and I actually have to take motion sickness pills from my doctor to relieve it!. For some reason, this helps!.
When I get migranes and a lot of people
First I get this aching in my neck between my back and brain stem thing!.
My vision gets blurry, I start to throw up, and then I'm just in immense pain!. It's SO SO horrible!.
When I start to feel the tension in my neck, I take 2 EXCEDERIN, 2 MOTRIN, and drink a can of Coke!. THen lay down in a dark place for about 30 mintues with eyes closed!. Two doctors told me to do this!. If I do it right when I feel the tension in my neck, the migraine DOESN"T come!

Well I am now 22, have had migraines since i was 6, usually severe head pain, and throwing up!.!.!.!.ive never really had weakness or stomach sickness!.!.!.!.id see a doctor!.!.!.if shes had severe head pain for 2 weeks also, it could be a number of things, she should see a doctor!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
