Question: Is it true that you can't kill yourself by holding your breath!?
I read it and I was wondering if it was possible, I mean the oxygen doesn't reach your brain and your heart, and doesn't drowning include not breathing!? Is it true!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think drowning is different to holding your breath, its really hard to hold your breath untill you pass out, at least!.!.!.
But I think drowing is when you breath in (not swallow) water and it enters the lungs!.!.!.different to oxygen not entering the lungs, heart and brain (no oxygen to the brain can cause brain damage, don't hold you breath till you pass out if you can help it or it could result in permanent brain damage >>!.!.!.) Of course you can't die by holding your breath!. You would only pass out and start breathing again until you came to!. Drowning is obviously not the same thing as you'd have water in your lungs and not be able to breathe anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you drown you'll die, but you can't die simply by holding your breath!. You can hold your breath for a while, but your body won't allow you to hold it long enough to kill yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
