Question: Two questions in one about getting sick!?
So today I woke up with a cold and i'm just wondering about how long do you think it will be until i'm over it!? I haven't had a cold in a whiillleeeee and I have forgotten about how long they usually last!. Also, i'm supposed to see my boyfriend this weekend and then go visit him at his school NEXT weekend!. If I see him this weekend, and we dont make out or have sex or ANYTHING, do you still think he WONT get sick!? I don't want him to be sick for when I go see him NEXT weekend!. I don't think you're contagious anymore- a person is contagious 24-72 hours before she feels sick, before she realizes that she's sick!. Once sick there are rare cases when you may be contagious but not with a cold!. By the time your bf sees you, even if you're still sick, he can't catch it from you, not through the air (breath, speech) nor via the other ways you mention!. However it's possible he may have gotten sick from someone else if he's sick when you see him, but he can't make you more sick either if he has a cold as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
