Question: Dvla medical test after drink drive ban !?
after being banned from driving for drink driving the dvla have requested i go for a medical before they issue my license back!.

As a practice nurse I regulary do bloods for DVLA medicals after driving bans!.
They test liver function test and full blood count!.
Also we check height weight and blood pressure!.
The person is then seen by a GP!. (Please note this is usually done by a GP that is not their own, indeed it is usually done at another practice)
The GP gives them an examination and has to fill in a detailed form about the findings!.
