Question: What is the process like when getting an ultrasound procedure on the groin area!?
I was curious what is done whenever getting an ultrasound on the lower groin area!? I have to get one done and I am pretty nervous about it!. I have to have it done on the testicles along with the lower groin area!. what is the procedure!? who does the procedure!? the doctor!? nurse!?,etc!. !.!.!. I hope its only one person in the room and not the doctor and his assistant, etc!. any info would be very appreciated!. thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

No, it should only be one person!.
It's a plastic thing kinda shaped like a fist (but rounded and smooth) and it emits sound waves!. You don't really feel anything at all!. They'll put some lotion all over the area and then slide it around taking different "pictures" at different angles!. Not much different than an x-ray except #1 it's sound, not radiation, and #2 it has to touch the skin!.
They might put some pressure behind it, but I doubt it!. Mine was of my heart and they had to take a picture through my ribs so they had to push really hard sometimes!. But, it'd imagine since they don't have 2 inches of bone to go through that it'll just have to touch the area!.
100% painless, nothing at all to worry about, and there's only 1 person doing it!. Don't think anything of it, everybody's junk down there is exactly the same, and you're just one of a hundreds of faces they see everyday!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
