Question: What happens when you get a cat scan and an MRI!?
I have to get both in the next coming week and I would just like to know what will happen!.

an MRI machine looks sort of like a big donut lol, and they just put you through it and it makes a little beeping noise and you come out!.
ive gotten a lot of them done before, and trust me, it doesnt hurt or anything haha!. i was scared the first time, too (i had to get a series of MRIs of my brain because i got a bad concussion)!.
its nothing to worry about, its basically the same as an x-ray!. good luck :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

CT: ability to reconstruct the area of interest in multiple planes!. Fractures, ligamentous injuries and dislocations can easily be recognised!.
MRI: is used to image every part of the body, but is particularly useful in neurological conditions, disorders of the muscles and joints, among other things!. The machines are loud!. If you are claustrophobic, this is NOT a maachine for you!. Let your physician know, they can order an anti anxiety for you, or just go with the CT!.

It is painless and they will probably find out what is wrong!. I have had both - complete body versions - and am in better shape than most folks!. Did find osteoporosis in my left hip, but treatable!. Still Kayaking, riding bikes and swimming at 82!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
