Help, Im scared, My daughter had a seizure today and I need some input..?!

My daughter is nine, she had some fasting blood work this morning, when she woke up I drew her blood (Im a nurse so I know how and have the supplies), she said she felt dizzy so I had her rest for about 5 min, she was laughing at cartoons and was fine but still a little out of it, I asked her then to come in the kitchen and get something to eat and drink because it had been so long, she walked in the kitchen, grabbed her head, said she felt funny and then collapsed, she hit her head on the window sill and then had a seizure that lasted about 1 minute, her muscles contracted she was grunting and she wet her pants!. The hospital said it was because of the blood draw and fasting but I don't understand how you can seize because of that, I can understand being woozy or passing out but having a grand mal seizure!?!? please give me any input you have!. thanks!.
