I believe it to be that the discharge or poop is more acidic ie with diarrhoea your flow from stomach to anus is faster so higher content or residue from stomach acids, plus the reaction of acids with the infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you have diarrhea the liquidy feces that comes out has a higher amount of acid in it that a firm stool and it causes some burning a the anus when pushing it out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
