Question: If someone is in a coma, do they still age or not!?

Yes, they age in their body, but their mind would be ten years behind the times!.In most cases they would not know what had taken place for the last ten years!. It would be very obvious if someone who was ten went into a coma and woke up as a twenty year old!. Their education stopped at ten so they wouldn't have the normal abilities or knowledge of a twenty year old!.
I have had patients that were in comas and were able to hear what was being said to them and remember portions of it!. Never assume the person can not hear or think!. That does not mean though that they could learn a lot of new material, but they might remember the sound of a voice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes they will continue to age!. Haven't you heard of the guy who was in one for 19 years and then miraculously "woke up!?" His body continued to age but his mind remained stuck in the period right before the car accident that resulted in his comatose state!. He thought his daughter was his wife and he kept trying to flirt with her, because in his mind he was still 19 as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They age, and since the body is inactive there is also muscle
loss and general deterioration!.
Exposure to normal wear and tear is far healthier than bed rest
