Question: Should I take the medicine!?
I have a sore throat and phlegm!. I went to the doctor's today and they did a strep test!. It turned out negative!. However, they said they would send it for a culture and still prescribed me Zithromax!. I'm a little hesitant to use the antibiotic, though, because she had commented that it could very well be viral (meaning an antibiotic wouldn't help) and b/c I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have already taken Zithromax once before during the pregnancy (and once before that for sinus infection - making it 3 times this year on the med)!.
Anyway!. I'm wondering if I should hold off until the cultures come back from the lab on Monday!. They aren't sure what it is and it feels better than earlier!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, hold off on the strong medication!. Most of those prescription medications are given just so the pharmacies and the FDA can make money!. It's all corrupt!. Just buy some cough drops and drink a lot of tea and water!. Get plenty of rest and you'll feel fine!. Most of those medications have worse side effects anyway!. BTW, there's some books out there that tell you about natural cures for just about every sickness out there, rather than running to the doctor all the time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
There is nothing wrong in taking zithromax while you are pregnant,!.even if you have already taken it durning your pregnancy That is what we give our OB patient's here, but it also won't hurt to hold off on it and wait to see what the results say either way you are fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I am not a doctor but I would rather be miserable than run the risk of hurting the baby thus I would wait till monday!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
