CELIAC TROUBLE! HELP!?!


Question: CELIAC TROUBLE! HELP!!?
so, those of you who know what celiac disease is may answer this problem for me!
well!.!.!.ive had celiac ever since i was 8, and im 15 now!.
so im pretty used to everything!. but ever since about
2 months ago, i've been having bf problems and my
mom is yelling at me to get a job!. trust me, theres
tonsss of stress!. well ive been really angry lately
and every time i do get angry i take it out on food!.
BAD food!. as in food that has FLOUR in it, which im
not supposed to eat!. but i cant help it!. it overwhelms me
so much that i have to eat it because it kind of calms
me down and makes me feel normal!. my parents dont
know this and i'm afraid if i tell them if they will yell at me or not!.
so i really need to solve this problem!!!
do any of you have a problem like this!?
PLEASE HELPPP ME!

Hi,
Sounds like you need a little support from people your age that are experiencing some of the same things!. Celiac!.com has a forum with a support section just for teens!. Go here:

I know you already know what you are doing to your body when you eat gluteny foods, so I want to give you some alternate choices to do instead of eating when you are upset!. This isn't good for anyone to turn to food for comfort and is especially not good when you are turning to food that is essentially toxic to you!.
The next time you get really stressed I want you to think about going for a walk, take the dog if you have one, play tennis, go for a bike ride, go do whatever physical activity you are into!. The exercise will relieve stress, release endorphins (those chemicals you make that make you feel happy), and will never harm you like gluteny foods will!. That's what I did whenever my parents stressed me out or gave me a hard time!. On top of that you won't have the fear of being discovered or the guilt of knowing you are hurting your body!. In additon to that, it will give you some much needed physical space and time away from your home and parents, but in a way they certainly won't protest or complain about! :-) (win-win, lol)
BTW, some of your mood issues/ anger could actually be coming from ingesting gluten, so you might feel more stable and in control getting those foods back out of your diet!.

Hang in there, please remember you are not alone in this! Please try to find a support group in your area, but if not, please join the teen forum on celiac!.com or another site like it!. Blessings!
p!.s!. and a big hug ((((hugs))) from me!. Do you have any gf baking mixes (like Bob's Red Mill brownie mix) so you can make yourself something indulgent when you want to!? Sometimes having legal, alternative stuff around can really help curb the "cheat cravings" as I call them!. For me, btw, I really miss fig newtons, lol! yes!.!.!.!.get someone who knows about this and tell them what is going on, as the more stress you have , the worse you are going to feel and react to it!.
This is how fibromyalgia works, also, the more stress we get the worse our body reacts!.

Something that may or may not be of interest to you would be to find support via the net!. There are online support groups that can help, for sure!. Try googling "Celiac Sprue support groups" or however you want to word it, and you just may be surprised!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need a support group!. If you call any hospital they can tell you where to find one!. It'll probably be free or really cheap!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
