Can sleeping too long be a sign of health problems?!
Question: Can sleeping too long be a sign of health problems!?
recently, i have been sleeping for extremely long periods of time!. I am not doing any more work than usual and there have not been many changes in my routine or diet!.
I have heard on a few occasions that sleeping more than 8-9 hours a night can actually be harmful to your body, is this true!?
I can physically get up of course, but I do not feel refreshed unless I sleep for 12 or more hours!.!.!. I know that sounds bad!.!.!. but its the truth!.
please any info would be very helpful!.!.!. serious answers only please!

If you are low in iron, this could cause you to be tired a lot of the time!.
Try eating lots of read meat and leafy green veggies!.

well sometimes you might miss out on some sleep for example if you have been waking up early!. to tell u the truth i never heard sleeping 8 to 7 hours is bad in fact thats like normal amount for someone to get this amount of sleep!. but i think ur in good health i wont take this to seriously unless it keeps happening for a month of so u should with a doctor!. dont be to concerned ok ^_^ Www@Answer-Health@Com
U shuld consult a physician!. But in my opinion it happens for 2-3 days when a person is not feeling well or is tired too much!. If its continuing then u might have some health problems like low BP or Insomnia!.

some people have a sleep disorder not sure what its called but basically you fall asleep just not into a deep sleep which is what you need my uncle had it do you wake un frequently at night!? thats a symptom of it
