i think that yes as people get older they do stop eating and drinking so much,a lot of elderly people only eat a small childs meal!.also certain medications can make you lose your appetite too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes they can!. My friend's husband did just this after finding out his wife was terminally ill!.
