Answers:
theoretically you should not have stopped cold turkey!. Thats why there are methadone clinics which help taper off the dose of narcotics!. i would seek help if you feel like your going to go back to them at all!. these are serious addictions!. It is good that you stopped, your body may want the drugs for a very long period of time!. good luck, and stick to it, dont let the drugs win!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

withdrawl symptoms can last from a week to a month!. Just try to hang in there and do not start taking those drugs again, b!.c!. it will only make your symptoms worse!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

methadone has a very long 1/2 life so they take weeks to get over the withdrawals!.!.keep going though it will be worth it!.!.!.withdrawing from narcotic opiates doesnt kill u but makes u feel like ure dying!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, since you've been off it for a week and those are the only symptoms you're getting you will probably be ok!. The worst of the opiate withdrawals are with drugs like heroin, for example, in which you'd have diarrhea, stomach cramps, vomiting, body aches, etc, and you'd feel like you're dying!. The ones your experiencing seem to be less severe than that, which is good!. The worst of withdrawal symptoms usually last about a week but more symptoms are likely to occur for weeks to follow!.

Just make sure that you don't get this problem again, there are lots of people who beat the withdrawal symptoms and then keep using!. Let this be a lesson, because as you now know, going through withdrawal is no fun!. But I think it's good that you took the initiative to stop, good luck with your efforts!Www@Answer-Health@Com
