ok im reallly freaked out because i took some cold and flu stuff and i took the rt amount!. but i am throwing up and wen i lay back it is kinda hard to breathe and makes me feel like im going to pass out, WHAT SHOULD I DO, im scared right now, i mean VERYYYYY scaredWww@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like you have an allergy to it!. Throwing up will help get it out of your system!. Do you breathe ok when you sit up!? Do you feel like you will pass out when you sit up!? If you feel ok sitting up then sit up even if you have to prop pillows under your head!. Take some Benadryl, that is what they would give you at the hospital!. Sip on some clear soda like sprite or 7up!. Don't try to keep from throwing up, it is your body's way of getting the stuff out of your system!. If your breathing is bad even sitting up, Get to the hospital!. Otherwise I think you will be ok because you threw up the medication that you were allergic to!. Get a cool cloth to wipe your face if you feel like passing out!. I don't think you will pass out, you are just scared!. You need to calm down, you are going to be ok!. Try to eat a little something to help absorb the medicine that you didn't throw up!. You will be ok just calm down!. Think about it, if you were that serious you couldn't be on the computer asking for advice you would be passed out and on your way to the hospital!.EDIT: Give me as many thumbs down as you want people but I do know what I am talking about, I have seen and treated anaphylactic shock and if she was that serious she would already be at the hospital!. BTW me321me Paramedic, how many people have you seen that was sitting up typing on a computer while having an anaphylactic reaction!? The ones I saw and treated could barely breathe, must less sit up and type on a computer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You can always call your doctor, but I'd take your temp and if you have a fever - you're sick!. Just take some down time and go to urgent care tomorrow if you don't feel better!. If you are really worried, tell someone to take you to the ER, esp!. if your symptoms get worse!. You probably just threw up the meds because you have the flu, not because of the meds themselves!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you are experencing difficulty breathing, then this could be a MAJOR, MEDICAL EMERGENCY! You could be experencing a SEVERE allergic reaction to the medication, based on your symptoms!.

When you take cold and flu medication, it will sometimes do this!. Throwing up is probably a good thing!. Your probably just sensitive to the meds!. Drink fluids to dilute it, and if the shortness of breath worsens you should go to the ER!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
relax drink some water and puke it up till all thats left is bile then get the phone call a friend to take you to the hospital, or drive yourself to the hospital "recommended you will stay consious that way " It might help to throw up in the waiting room so do thatWww@Answer-Health@Com
Do you have a walk-in clinic open 24 hours in your area!? I would try to get in there now!. If you're having trouble breathing, you could be allergic to the medicine!. I would head to the emergency room if it gets worse!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
