Other than counting sheep?!


Question: Other than counting sheep!?
Um!.!.!.there aren't many details, but, I go to bed and try to sleep, but my mind is weird and it, like, replays stuff that's happened during the day!. So whenever I close my eyes I hear stuff like my mom's voice or my dad's voice!. I have to really concentrate hard on listening to something else to make the sounds go away!. I have already tried listening to my clock tick, listening to music, and listening to books on tape!. Sometimes they work, but they haven't been working lately!. Any suggestions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have the same problem! my mind just won't shut off when it needs to!. lately i've found the perfect cure for me, and i hope it helps you too!. i was so stressed out, and wired, but i didn't have anyone to vent all of that out on, so i got a journal!. i write before bed, and get everything that's racing through my mind, onto paper!. it doesn't have to make sense, it doesn't need to be in order, or even in full sentences!. just write and write until everything is out, and hopefully your mind will calm down and let you sleep!. best of luck! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Drinking some sort of alcohol to relax you!.

When I have difficulty sleeping, I imagine myself on a beach with the sounds of the waves hitting the sand, a cool breeze in my face, and sipping on an adult beverage while reading a favorite book!. It is all about relaxation and to help yourself relax, think relaxing thoughts or of something you really enjoy doing that helps you to forget your problems and issues!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I read first before I go to sleep that tends to send me to sleep especially if it is a good book!.I also listen to the radio but an all talk show instead of music that way I get bored of it and don't concentrate on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
