Why do the sides of my tongue hurt?!
Question: Why do the sides of my tongue hurt!?
For some reason after I got home from school yesterday (I am a teacher), the sides of my tongue were sore!. My husband said it's probably that my lymph nodes (sp!?) are swollen!. My throat doesn't hurt, but every time I swallow I can feel the sides of my tongue hurting a little!. It's hurt all day today!. Does anyone know the reason for this!? Is my husband right!?

Do you get any bumps/lines/lesions on the side of your tongue!? I get white spots and lesions on the sides of my tongue that are quite annoying because I smoke!. Eating sour and certain types of food can cause irritation!.
I would start rinsing my mouth out with warm salt water!.!.!.!.it could be a simple canker sore that has just not erupted yet!.!.!.!.
