Blo*dy hell, I hope not!Www@Answer-Health@Com
No!. This is for several reasons!. One, the amount of blood that a louse takes up is so small that it is very unlikely to contain a single virus particle!. Two, to be passed on the virus must replicate inside the insect (yellow fever does this in mosquitoes, but HIV does not)!. Third, some virus-containing fluid must pass from the insect into the new victim (again, yellow fever is shooshed out of the mosquito in the insect's saliva, this does not happen with lice and the virus doesn't survive in the insect anyway)!. Remember that insects are cold blooded, and HIV is very intolerant of temperature changes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would highly doubt that, or there would be children getting HIV without any known cause!. Headlice are all over the place where I live so if just one person in the area had HIV it would spread around and if kids started getting it without having any known contact you would hear about it on the news pretty quick!.
I guess it is because the SUCK blood- they dont inject it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
