Question: Deafness & Mutism Stuffff!?
I recently went deaf (ironically known sign language all my life)!. I have noticed unless its with my boyfriend (I'm extremely comfortable with) I dont like talking!. I still do, I dont want people to feel I'm being rude!. I wear hearing aids which helps for the most part so it's not that I can't hear myself though its nothing like it was before!. Nothing sounds the same!. Is it normal not to want to talk!? Idk, just the way I sound is sorta like radio-y and whatever!. I just dont liek the way I sound, even if it's different to other people!.

I'm not deaf, but I figure that's pretty normal!. You're probably feeling insecure!.
I bet there's support groups for deaf people somewhere near you!. You could join one, and others probably have went through what you are describing!.
