the lable on my bottle says "AMOXILN/CLAV TAB 875MG substituted for: AUGMENTIN TAB 875MG" so i guess its amoxiln!? well anyways i just took 1 amoxiln pill at 12 and just took a Mucinex DM pill now(3:00 pm) and can i take 2 advils!?my throat hurts and the dr said if i had to much pain that i should take advil but he never prescribed me mucinex dm,i got that at the store!.so can i take the advil!?i dont want like an overdose or something!.please help me,im leaving soon and i need to know if i can take it!.sorry i dont know if i put this in the right section!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Read the label on the Mucinex packaging and see what if it says anything about taking it with OTC pain meds!. You might be better off taking Tylenol!. You can also call the pharmacy to see if there would be any drug interactions!.

Not a good idea!. Amoxicillin is something you have to continue taking for at least a week to work anyways!. Go to a Doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
