Question: I need to know all about hookah!?
So a friend of mine just offered to take me to a hookah bar she goes to!.
I don't know too much about smoking hookah, just that what she smokes is something called 'shisha'!. I would like to know everything about this before I do it!. Is it harmful!? Does it provide a high!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Smoking anything is harmful!. Yes it provides a high, much as purer and high grade tobacco produces a high!.
Hookahs use water as a filter!. they smell beautiful and the taste depends on what the shisha has soaked in, but often it's rosewater or apple!.
It's pleasant to do, but yes, it is just like smoking cigarettes with all the pitfalls!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ya, you'll get high!.!.!.And no you won't get into trouble because the bar would have been shut down a long time ago if it was a bar based off of doing drugs!.
In the short term, no its not harmful,(but I'm sure anti-smokers will disagree) if you smoked it for several years (which I'm pretty sure you won't) you could get lung cancer, but its basically impossible to get lung cancer from one night of smoking!.

It does provide a high but it is harmful!.
One thing though, if you start smoking hookah, then it is much easier to quit than it is with nicotine!. But i have heard that it is more dangerous than normal cigarettes!.
I guess for one night it would be okay, so yeah go have fun!.

definately don't do it nothing good ever comes from smoking anything!. you might feel as if you are the odd one out but in the long run you will be the healthier one! && live alot longer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
