How long is a prescription valid for?!

Question: How long is a prescription valid for!?

if I were to go get a prescription from my doc for, lets say, Viagra, how long do I have to get it dispensed!?
(FYI, im not taking nor do I need Viagra, it was just an example!haha)

bad example lol!. but usually there is an expiration date on your prescription slip that says "void after" so many days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
