Why do I always have bad hearing?!
Question: Why do I always have bad hearing!?
All my life I have had really bad hearing!. Since I have really small ear canals, that is pretty much why!. When I was younger it was so bad I didn't even understand enlish!. As I grew up I would do the odd ear wash out with that big needle thing the doctor does!. It just gets worse and worse!. What should I do!? Is there anyway my doctor could refer me to a specialist of what!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Small ear canals are prone to wax buildup, but since this has been "lifelong" for you it's not likely you've had a wax blockage for that long!. Most insurances cover hearing evaluations performed by an audiologist, who are experts in the diagnosis and management of hearing loss!. They can also teach you proper ways to clean your small ears (no Q-tips!) so that they don't block up!. You can find audiologists in the yellow pages--good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Are you saying the doctor who tends to you is not a specialist!? Please go to an EENT doctor!. (Eyes, Ears, Nose & Throat Specialist)!. These doctors know better and can treat you better!. Goodluck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
