How long till i see results by taking whey protein?!


Question: How long till i see results by taking whey protein!?
i run about 5 to 7 miles everyday and every other day i lift weights!.
-condition for basketball every morning
-run for cross-country
-lift weights and after a workout (afternoons after i get home from school) i drink whey protein with milk!.
Should i drink it with water!? milk!? which is better!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Drinking a whey protein supplement with milk will increase its caloric value and throw in a little extra protein and calcium!. So, if you're wanting to gain weight then go with the milk!. And by weight I mean you will be burning the fat and turning that protein through protein synthesis into muscle!. I used to do the almost exact same as you, and while you may see a little muscle gain, you need to have (supposedly, the rule of thumb goes) one gram of protein per pound of bodyweight!. So, you weigh 120 pounds, that's 120 grams of protein in a single day!. That's what heavy lifters go by, and it's all open to interpretation!.

However, with your running, I wouldn't advise anymore than you can really handle!. You may become bloated or have other side effects that are detrimental to your running!. I noticed this, but I was getting more into lifting at the time so I continued with the use and pounded the water!. But, everyone differs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
