Question: Please help! I'm VERY scared for my friend!?
My friend has a real bad cough so the doc gave her some medicine!. I don't know why she did this, but over the course of today she has drunk the whole bottle!. It's recommended 2-4 spoons a day!. Could anything happen to her!? She's saying she feels guilty and she's been REALLY hyper all day!. What she we do!? Will she be ok!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some people use cough medicines as a drug, they can make you high or slow you down, depending on the formula!. She probably won't have to go to the emergency room, but you all should call a poison control center and just ask what the effects are, and whether she will need to see a doctor!. She will be fine!. The sough syrup usually has codeine in it and in some people it makes them hyper!. She needs to get some rest and drink water!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
