Absolutely!. I had to sign a waiver when they put me out to extract my wisdom teeth, saying they wouldn't be liable if I died due to the anesthesia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
All surgery and anesthetic have mortality risks!. Some surgies have more risks than others so it depends on what she is having done and her over all health condition!. It is not uncommon for someone to worry about not waking up!. Grandma should have more conversation with her surgeon and anesthesiologist to increase her comfort level!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

P!.S!. Odds are in her favor if she doesn't have any other health problems that complicate; however, people have massive MI's, CVA's, complicatons due to anesthesia and medications all the time!. All in all though most people don't have these problems though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it can but the chances of that happening are about the same as winning the powerball!. I have had 6 surgeries in the past year!. Ive asked alot of questionsWww@Answer-Health@Com
Yes it can, some people are more accepting to the anesthesia that is used to put people "out" and could take longer to wake up!. Sometimes very long!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
There is always some risk with anesthesia but modern surgery is very safe!. It is more dangerous for her not to have the surgery she needs!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
