I have a very painful abscess that keeps recurring in my breast!. it first appeared about 4 months ago and after a course of 2 different antibiotics at the same time it went and stayed away for 3 months, then 2 weeks ago it returned and when seeing a different GP he prescribed just 1 type of antibiotics, after taking the tabs for 1 day it vanished but I finished the tabs as advised!. Now just 10 days after finishing the tabs it is back I have an appointment to see my GP on Friday!. He did say that if it did keep filling I would need to have it removed or have antibiotics intravenously!. I absolutely hate hospitals and aneasthetics so don't really want to have it removed unless I can stay awake whilst they do it!. Anyone experienced this before Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may well be possible to remove the abscesses using a local anaesthetic, I am afraid that plus antibiotics are the only real options!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
